Heavenly Mountain Resort

The Heavenly Ski and Snowboard Foundation trains at Heavenly Mountain Resort. With 4,800 acres Heavenly is Tahoe's largest resort. The Foundation Alpine Team has various mountain locations designated for Slalom and Giant Slalom courses including Comet run, Emily's Run and World Cup run. The Foundation Freestyle Team maintains a permanent mogul course on Waterfall run. For the Foundation Snowboard Team there are four permanent terrain parks varying in level from beginner to expert.

Foundation Building

Our training facility was completed in 1996 and is located at the Heavenly Mountain California Lodge, near the Heavenly Tram at the base of the World Cup lift. The 2,962 square foot facility was made possible through the support of our local community and build solely from donations. The facility offers equipment lockers for athletes, a video viewing area, an area for work and study, administrative offices, and both a conference and tuning room.
